Caryford Community Hall, Ansford, Castle Cary

A Somerset Day performance by the Wells Cathedral School Brass Department, headed by Paul Denegri.

The WCS  Brass Department has received international and national recognition for the high quality of its instrumental and ensemble tuition. For over 30 years this musically vibrant and highly regarded department has forged a close association with the current music industry and prides itself on its ability to enable its pupils to be successful young musicians in the twenty-first century.

The members of the WCS Brass Quintet are all specialist musicians at Wells. Three of them are currently members of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

The ensemble looks forward to presenting a fun, feel-good and foot-tapping programme that will make you smile. The repertoire they have chosen is also very impressive and challenging to play! This promises to be a lovely evening, set within a magical rural idyll.
