Dragon Stop 5: Watchet
The Journey of the Somerset Dragon continues to the beautiful coastal town of Watchet on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2026.
Join us at 12 noon for a live interactive reading of The Tail of The Somerset Dragon, written, illustrated and printed in Somerset, followed by the Dragon’s special reveal as he emerges from our touring stage lorry.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Watchet’s harbour and The Esplanade, this seaside stop brings together storytelling, community spirit and Somerset pride. Families can see the Dragon up close and submit a name suggestion as part of the county-wide build-up to Somerset Day 2026.
Expect sea air, a warm community atmosphere and plenty of Somerset magic.
