Dowding's will be having an open weekend this weekend, 9th and 10th May, to celebrate Somerset Day - which falls on Monday 11th May. The orchard will be open from 10am to 8pm, and you can turn up and wander among the trees, many still with blossom on them. The Pitcombe Rock Falconry will be in attendance with birds of prey each day, explaining about their work in rescue and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Catering on Saturday will be by Bhavin and his team at Desi Cafe from Bruton, with their Indian themed food. On Sunday Kate Foster, The Intuitive Chef, from Sherborne - will be offering a spread of apple themed food. Dowding's look forward to welcoming everyone for a day in the orchards.
